Henry Evans will serve as our Club President beginning July 1, 2021. Please welcome Henry and wish him well in the new club year. Thank you for your service to Rotary!

Congratulations to Gregg Brown on his first Paul Harris fellow and to Tracy Dahl-Webb for her second Paul Harris fellowship! Thank you so much for your service to Rotary West and generous gifts to the Rotary Foundation!

As of June 12th we will start having our weekly club meetings back at the Country Club and in person.   To practice safe social distancing we will have a limit of 4 people per table, food service will be cafeteria style, members are encouraged to wear a mask, and it is recommended to wash your hands upon arrival to the Club.  In addition, we will offer virtual attendence via Zoom for club members not comfortable attending in person.
In the past 4 weeks Rotary West Club members raised $2,800 plus $1,500 in matching funds from Club funds for a total of $4,300 to purchase 10 new Lego robots for the FIRST Lego League lending library program run by EmBe.  These new Lego robots will help 100+ students enrolled in the program compete this fall. We had the honor of donating the funds at our Feb. 7th club meeting.  Pictured below (L to R) presenting the donation are Rotary West Club members Rich Lauer, Jeremy Haugen (Lego League), Stacy Stahl (EmBe), Carol Nielsen, and Orv Olivier.

We had the opportunity to serve dinner to the youth at the Boys & Girls Club on the east side.  Rotary West putting service above self!
