Virtual Meeting: Gregg Biggs
Edgewood Center for Children

Gregg Biggs is the Director of Advancement with Edgewood Center for Children and has worked in the field of philanthropy for over 33 years.  He has worked with Rotary clubs locally, nationally and internationally over the past three decades, including Rotary 3H grants in Guatemala, Oaxaca, Mexico, and Nepal.

Founded in 1851, Edgewood Center for Children and Families serves 5,800 vulnerable children and families in San Francisco, San Mateo County and the East Bay. With a focus on mental and behavioral health, Edgewood has provided services throughout the pandemic at a time when stress and anxiety have been at an all time high.

In August, members of the Rotary Club of San Francisco Evening, San Francisco West and San Francisco Castro used earmarked fund for the Environment from Rotary District 5150 to do planting, weeding, and beautification of Edgewood’s residential campus in San Francisco.  Gregg will share how Edgewood has been helping children and families face the mental health aspects of the global pandemic and how Rotarians can join in helping the vulnerable members of our community.
