Speaker 5/23/22- Amanda Burgin, BS, President of the Rotary Club of Beaufort Amanda moved to Beaufort, SC in 2003. She is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with a BS in Aeronautical Technology. Amanda’s aviation career started In Cheyenne, WY as a flight instructor in 1994. After numerous flight hours, she was promoted to cargo pilot, and eventually co-pilot for the Secretary of State of Wyoming. In 1997 she became a contract pilot for Lockheed-Martin training C-130 Test Pilots to become multi-engine flight instructors. Her aviation career progressed to the airline industry, where she was a Captain. Currently, Amanda is a Financial Planner with offices in Atlanta and Beaufort specializing in Business succession and executive retirement planning. She is the President of the Rotary Club of Beaufort. 2021 Graduate of Leadership South Carolina and 2018 Graduate of Leadership Beaufort. She is married with two children ages 10 and 14.
