Mtng with retired Air Vice-Marshall Julie Hammer

On Thursday night we welcomed 30 of our members and also our 2 special guests.  We gave a warm welcome to John Deakin and our amazing guest speaker, Lisa Rowe who is the CEO of Wishlist. Thank you Tony for inviting Lisa to join us.  I am sure I can speak for everyone and say that we were given a wonderful insight into the many valued opportunities they provide for those in need on the Sunshine Coast.  Bryan will not be with us for the next 2 weeks as he is looking after Lyn who is recovering from a fall.  We wish her a speedy recovery and we also hope to have Kevin Curd back with us very soon as well.  

Next week we have another very special guest speaker.  Retired Air Vice-Marshal Julie Hammer AM, CSC will be joining us and sharing about her life and career. I will attach her bio to this invitation and I am sure she would love to meet as many of our members as possible. 

I personally look forward to my Thursday nights, I love to hear the laughter, the fun conversations and the time spent with friends.  Don't forget to register or decline by Monday night at 8pm so I can order you a meal on Tuesday morning.

Please be aware if you indicate your attendance, the Club will order a meal for you.  If you are unable to attend (and do not advise / change your status in ClubRunner by 8.00pm on the Monday prior to the meeting) then the cost of your meal being $25.00 will be added to your account and payable at your next visit.

Your confirmation as to whether your - and your partner's attendance (or not) has been recorded in ClubRunner will be via an email you receive after you click 'send' from this email.  If you do not receive an email, it is likely your attendance (or not) has not been recorded in ClubRunner.  This being the case, you should contact the writer who can complete your registration for you.
