Our Club is committed to doing something for the environment. Living in the Blue Mountains, in a World Heritage Area, we feel privileged and keen to do what we can to protect our environment. We are pleased Environment projects and activities, are recognised as one of the seven Areas of Focus for Rotary International.

At the moment our input is small but we are looking for new challenges that can help in some small way. A few of us are out there regularly in the National Parks as a NPWS Volunteer, trying to manage noxious weeds and other infestations. The Club also collects recyclable bottles and cans. Our "bin-divers" are out there in all weathers collecting and turning them into cash. Of course it goes back to the community. Two years ago we financially supported the Blue Mountains Koala Project for the Science for Wildlife organisation.

We hope to announce a project initiative in the next few months.
