Donors to The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona really enjoy hearing from our vocational education grant recipients.  Photos of our graduates taken on-the-job, in their work apparel, or with their families enjoying an activity that might have been financially out of reach prior to receiving their grant help us tell our story.

When those photos are accompanied by a brief statement about how the grant you received from TRVFA made a difference in your quality of life, they are powerful.

These next few weeks, as people are filing their income tax returns, is a really good time for us to flood our Facebook page with photos and notes of appreciation from our Alumni.  Those images will remind Rotarians, Alumni, and friends and family to make a tax credit donation to TRVFA on or before April 15.  Donations made by April 15 can be used to offset Arizona State Income tax obligation for the 2020 or 2021 tax year (but not both)

Don't worry about spelling, grammar, etc.  We can "edit" your message, but we cannot effectively tell our story without some current, fun photos of our alumni.

You can send your photos and brief messages to trvfarotary@gmail.com.

When you send photos, you might want to think about what your camera will be seeing.  I think we are all aware of images we see on social media where the background or other things going on in the photo detract from the planned image.  If possible, keep the background plain and simple, unless you are outdoors, then make it as scenic and complimentary as possible.

Those of us that volunteer for TRVFA love to hear from you.  Your successes make every minute we spend on this program worthwhile.
