Bar open 11:00am
Blessing of the Fleet will be held in the CIYC Dining room due to inclement weather.
11:30am Commodore’s Blessing of the fleet & Luncheon in the dining room. CIYC Bar opens at 11:00am
The Commodores will be presiding over the Blessing of The Fleet on January 15th at 11:00 AM near the breakwater. Each vessel will be presented a bottle of Champagne. This is an IMPORTANT KICK OFF for our new year and water activities. No matter the size or type of boat we want you to fly your CIYC Burgee and attend.
Of course we need to know the names of your vessel as the Commodores want to speak a personalized blessing over each boat. Please RSVP via email to reservations.ciyc@roadrunner.com. and put your vessels name in the comments section.
Check in on Channel # 69. Weather permitting, the Commodores will be on a boat and we will approach each vessel, pronounce your blessing and present the Captain with a Bottle of Champagne.
If you are willing to bring other club members out on your boat please so indicate in the comments section , and If you are looking for a ride for the day please indicate this in the comments section also.
When we are finished we will return to CIYC for A light lunch and CIYC camaraderie. I hope to see every boat in the CIYC Navy out there . The Bar will open at 1pm.
