Cosmo Lunch with Branch Chief US Attorney

Please join us for a special lunch this Thursday at Praire Street Brewhouse. We have with us special guest Maggie Schneider is the Branch Chief of the Western Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois. Maggie went to college at the University of Illinois and law school at the University of Michigan. Maggie began her career in 2001 as a law clerk to the Honorable Paul V. Niemeyer of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, located in Baltimore, Maryland. She was also an associate with the law firm Mayer Brown in Chicago from 2002 through 2006. Maggie joined the U.S.
Attorney’s Office in 2006 as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago, where she worked in the general crimes, gang and narcotics, white collar fraud, and public corruption sections. In 2012, Maggie became a deputy chief in the Chicago office, a position she held in the narcotics section and the violent crimes section. In 2015, Maggie transferred to the Western Division of the U.S. Attorney’s
Office. In April 2018, Maggie became the Branch Chief of the Western Division.
