Zymurgy Club - President's January Message
Hello Zymurgy Club,I would like to thank past President Randy Pace and the past board for the job they did with the club. We are fortunate to continue with two members from last years board, Maryalyce Skree as our new Secretary and Glen Lucas continuing as Treasurer. I look forward to working for the Club and working with Roland Cloutier our new VP, Maryalyce Skree, and Glen Lucas. We're gonna have fun!
The first board meeting January 4 set goals and named the new committee chairs. The new committee Chair's are working to make it what you the members want. More classes, more guest speakers, and more events are only a part of it. What are the other parts? Your ideas and participation.
We are all members of the Zymurgy club ( or about to join) and THAT gives us all something in common.
The club is a craft club and I hope to increase the classes and education events to encourage all our members to try making a brewed ale or beer or try making a batch of wine, and now try roasting your own premium custom made coffees.
The craft includes enjoying what fermentation does. We will have classes and speakers providing ways to enjoy that end process.
Events? Oh, we have those too. Our fund raising events have been a hit and have helped grow our club. New classes are scheduled and new events are filling the calendar.
