Live Tuzday with Blues Legend

Hans Olson

Singer, guitar and harmonica player, songwriter extraordinaire; Olson has done just about everything there is to do in the music business.  He's opened for some of the greatest blues and rock acts in the country, (if not the world) including Muddy Waters, BB King, The Allman Brothers, Bonnie Raitt and Tom Waitts. (to name a few)  He played harmonica on Steve Martin's Grammy Award winning album "The Crow."
His songs have appeared in movies like "Rock the Kasbah" with Bill Murray and Bruce Willis and TV shows like NCIS, Ghost Whisperer, Saving Grace, Criminal Minds and the drama series "Justified."  He's had acting parts in some movies and he wrote the first year's official theme song ("Phoenix Boogie") for the Phoenix Mercury - Phoenix' own professional women's basketball team.

He has performed throughout the US and Canada, and has 27 European tours under his belt!  Just a few days after this Live Tuzday show, Hans will be playing back to back shows with John McEuen at the Mesa Arts Center and the Fox Tucson Theater.

Mr Olson is the Past President of the Arizona Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame and the current President of the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame.  He continues to perform around Arizona as a solo artist, with his own band and with other performers.

"Dedicated blues master...Olson is a superb guitarist and is blessed with a rich, resonant, deep baritone voice, he plays (harmonica) easily and beautifully...a far broader musical personality than is usually found
among folk-blues blowers..."
