Spirits

 

A series of lectures designed to provide an overview of the flavors and aromas of spirits and enhance knowledge and confidence when ordering or serving spirits.  Recipes will be provided at the lecture.  

 

LECTURE 2 - Whiskies

TIME:  5:30 -8:00   Doors open from 5:00 -8:00.   DVD will start at 5:30 sharp.

 

CHARGE:   $15.00

Lecture 2 - Whiskies, including scotch, rye and bourbon.  A discussion of the flavors and complexities, and cultural, geographic and commercial factors, will help participants broaden their knowledge.  Participants will use the four S's of tasting spirits--see, sniff, sip, and savor--to compare spirits.

 

Bring a snack to share after the lecture; glasses will be provided.
