I said yes to the dues increase not necessarily in preference but in support either way. I would prefer a meeting venue that does not mandate the use of masks. I feel proper distancing is appropriate. The location meeting itself does not matter to me.

 

I hope we can go back to Country Lane it's NO cost! Don't rush members many want to social distance. We should save $$

 

I like Country Lane because my mom loves there, and I get to see her before/after the meeting. Also, If we offer a lunch option at another location, I feel that could get complicated.

 

I like CAC location and atmosphere better than CL. Get some art and good exposure for center as well

Either location above is fine. Might be good to do the lunches through Jason's so that everyone is responsible for their own lunch or they can bring their own. Saves from someone having to gather money to pay caterer.

I like the idea of supporting the CAC and would opt to pay more dues and have the option to order lunch, but not be mandated to order lunch. Hope that helps! Thanks

 

I don't mind the $30 increase in dues but it would take more time to get lunch then come to meeting. Also Country Lane or CAC would be ok and if I cannot make meeting I will attend via Zoom but that would only be because I am working out of town not due to being uncomfortable.

I hesitate to comment, considering that I have not turned in my dues. I am on the fence as to whether or not I am going to renew my membership. I am in prayerful consideration and feel confident I will make the right decision. Whether I do or not, I would like to thank you for always being so nice and available.

 

Country Lane is convenient to my office and allows for me to be able to attend meetings.

 

Will come back to meetings when I feel it is safe.

 

I enjoy meeting all together! I feel that doing it by zoom, we loose some of our personal connections. Harder to get to know everyone!

I say 6 months, depending on how the numbers play out. My mom is in a high-risk category so I am extra careful. I am a member of Christ Episcopal and we have a large Parish Hall with a professional kitchen. Tables and chairs are there. sound system, large area for power point presentations, centrally located downtown Temple. I bet they would work out a good deal for a service organization to meet on Tuesdays. 

 

I am good with what the board decides. I would prefer to meet in person, but will also do Zoom meetings if needed. Thank you for considering our thoughts,

I understand and appreciate your efforts to move forward in planning. Also understand and appreciate how difficult these decision are. I've been advised to maintain a limited social circle or the foreseeable future. Would love to stay connected and hope to find a way to participate; however these limitations will make it challenging to coordinate "gatherings". I believe there are ways that those of us in this same predicament can still help with projects that could be taken home (i.e. cutting, sewing, etc). Please keep us in mind and offer options in connecting to the right people to help in this way. Thanks for ALL you are doing to make this a safe, healthy opportunity for us all.

 

The club needs to be made aware of how much we have been spending on lunches that were not purchased by members. Can you please provide this information to the entire membership?

 

Our current location works for all our needs. I hate to give that up.

CAC is a great location but not as conveniently located as Country Lane.

I'm getting braver about getting out as long as we don't have another wave, then it's back to zoom

 

I don't think raising dues is necessary even if we have to rent a space to hold meetings because it could be covered as a budget item under the administrative budget. I don't think raising dues is a good idea given our current economic situation.
