Innovation Station

WHERE : The Innovation Station, located in the lower level of Chula Vista Public Library, 365 F Street

For our May Service project, Chula Vista Rotary will assist at the Innovation Station, the leading edge science and tech lab developed as a partnership with the Chula Vista Elementary School District, Qualcomm, and the Chula Vista Public Library. Each CVESD 6^th grader spends a day at the lab to explore science, engineering, math and tech careers, learn basic computer coding and build simple robotic crafts. Our assignment? Be an audience as each teams creates their robocraft, listen and ask questions as they explain their inventions, followed by light clean up.  The 6^th graders in attendance on May 14^th will be from Eastlake Elementary School.
