Shelter Box

Pete Griffith will present the Shelter Box and what happened since he came in December 2015.

More about Shelter Box, one of the organizations that received funding from our club this year, from their website:

"Right now, around 85 million people around the world have been displaced by natural disaster and conflict. ShelterBox is working to change this. Natural disasters and conflicts never take days off, and neither do we. We’re always on the ground, working to help the most vulnerable, no matter how remote. We’re hammering pegs, tying knots and building shelter right now. By providing emergency shelter and tools for displaced families, we’re transforming despair into hope. We are striving for a world where no family is left without shelter. Join the ShelterBox team. Make a difference."

Peter W. Griffith, Shelter Box Committee Chair
