Our guest speaker today was Libby Corydon-Apicella, of Berkeley Heights. Her presentation to our Rotary Club today was about her first experience with Rotary. As a high school senior, she was a Rotary-sponsored exchange student to Denmark in 1968-69.

Libby holds a BA in American Studies from Colby College and an MA in travel & tourism from The New School. A licensed multilingual tour guide, she also collaborates with her husband on cooking classes and public relations at their three Manhattan restaurants. Libby’s early career began with 15 plus years at American Express Travel. She is a founder and current President of CAST (Creative Arts Support Team), a not-for-profit organization supporting Berkeley Heights students in the visual and performing arts, and a trustee of the Wharton Music Center-New Jersey Youth Symphony in Berkeley Heights. She has also been a partner in the annual cultural exchange program to Italy for Columbia Middle School Italian language students.
