The Berkeley Heights Volunteer Rescue Squad has for years trained their own members, students, and the community on the most current life-saving CPR techniques. But in time, their training manikin became worn to the point of unusability. That's how the Berkeley Heights Rotary Club got involved, and helped solve this problem. Using the Rotary Club's own resources, plus grant funds from Rotary District 7510, the club purchased a brand-new state-of-the-art manikin for the Rescue Squad--"Resusci Anne 2"--which the squad will begin using right after the first of the coming year in their ongoing community outreach training schedule.  As an integral aspect of the grant, the Rescue Squad will be training all Rotary Club members, and then the program will continue on a community-wide basis.
