November 30th speaker - George W. Rauch, CEO General Propeller Co. "The economic probabilities of the next four years under the new administration."
Mr. Rauch did his undergraduate work in Economics at Indiana University and graduate work in business at New York University. He became an officer and stockholder of Paine, Webber, Jackson & Curtis in 1971, and was a founder of The Balcor Company (since sold to American Express). He purchased General Propeller Company in 1975.
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED ON SEVERAL PROJECTS
December 3rd, 9 am to 11 am: Support our Builders Club students from Sarasota Middle School and Pine View at Mothers Helping Mothers. The students will be organizing clothing and inventory at MHM, 5933 N. Washington Blvd. Call Drew Lowther (448-1921) to let him know you’d like to volunteer. These clubs are special because they are OUR Builder's Clubs. This is an opportunity to work with the students to demonstrate and encourage service to others. Check "Events" at the right for a location map.
December 3rd: Join the Aktion Club for the annual Jingle and Jog event at The Haven (formerly Community Haven). http://www.communityhaven.org/ Register online or at the site. On site registration begins at 7 am, the race starts at 8 am. Look for John Masters !
December 10th: It's Kettle Duty time for the Salvation Army. One Hour turns at the Landings Publix begin at 9 am. Expect Key Club support for many of the turns through the day. For more fun, wear Santa hats and reindeer antlers. ALSO, children and cute dogs always attract donors so "bring 'em if you got 'em." Call Joe Sikora to secure a place on the schedule. Food Donation - Please bring your food donations to November 30th meeting. Good progress here so far but we need to focus and maintain the momentum.
XMAS Angels - Presents for children identified by Wilkinson Elementary as in need of XMAS presents are due at the December7th meeting. Presents are to be wrapped and tagged with family and child's ID.
Pine View Key Clubbers were at Barnes and Noble last weekend wrapping gifts for donations. Congratulations on a fine event.
