Date: November 11, 2019, Monday
Time: Parade begins at 9:30 AM (Royal Rosarians to assemble at 9:00 am)
Where: Meet in McDonald's parking lot, 2000 NE 40th Ave. 
Uniform: Dress whites, with gloves, hats, and capes.  Women wear pants. Have rain gear (coats and hat covers) available if needed.

 

All Rosarians and Veterans are urged to attend.

 

RECEPTION POST PARADE: A light lunch will be hosted by Duke Rick Saturn with beverages immediately following the parade at his home 1950 N.E. 62nd Ave (62nd & Tillamook). Feel free to bring a small salad or desert. You can also the visit the Saturns before the parade.

 

Best parking is near the end of the parade route. To avoid closed streets park South of Sandy and East of 47th. 

 

A special ceremony immediately following the parade at 11:11 AM (the 11th minute of the 11th hour of the 11th month) will commemorate the official cessation of hostilities at the end of WW1.

 

The Royal Rosarians have a strong history of participation in this event paying tribute to those past and present who have fought to preserve the freedom we all enjoy,  PLEASE register.  If you need a ride contact Hal Barry.
