2019 Astoria Regatta Rose Planting, Parade & Purely Social
Please plan to join Lord High Chancellor Kimberly Bown & Squire Stephen Bown at the 2019 Astoria Regatta Grand Land Parade in downtown Astoria. Join us at the Rose Planting Ceremony that morning, 9am at the Flavel House.
When: Saturday, August 10th, 9:00 am rose planting ceremony (Rosarians assemble by 8:45am), noon parade (Rosarians assemble by 11:00am)
Where: Rose Planting Ceremony at Flavel House (441 8th St. Astoria). Parade assembly area (School District “Old Bus Barn Area” located on Exchange St at 18th St behind the Aquatic Center)
Attire: Whites, hats, gloves, capes. Green jacket and white pants for those in the drum line or those still without a white suit uniform.
Purely Social
Hosted by Duke Rick and Lady Marie Saturn at their home: 840 Beach Drive, Seaside 97138
The fun begins immediately after the parade. Directions: Drive south on Highway 101 past the second stop light in Seaside, then take a RIGHT turn on G street. Make a left turn at the second stop sign (Beach Drive). Their home (blue house) is ½ block down on the right. Don’t forget to bring casual clothes to change into.
