You are invited to the Horton’s house for the 4th of July Parade. Come early and stay for the BBQ afterward. Coffee will be ready when you arrive. I recommend arriving before 8:30 am. The police start closing off the roads for pre-parade activities around 8:30 so after that you may have troubles getting to the house.

Parking

The parking on Birchwood Drive is on the street so again, early is better. There are several Birchwood’s (Terr., Rd., Ln, etc.) so don’t get lost. Keep in mind we are located inside the circle of the parade route you will not get out before 12:30.

If you need to leave right after the parade I recommend NE Delsey Road or the streets just off of Delsey. That puts you near the start and finish of the parade and relatively easy exit from Hillsboro.

Directions from Portland

Take Hwy 26 to right ramp exit 59, Jackson School Rd, Turn Left onto Jackson School Rd., 2.2 mi, Turn Right onto Evergreen Rd, 0.3 mi, Turn Left onto Jackson School Rd, 1.5 mi, Bear Left onto 5th Ave. and immediately turn Left onto NE Grant Street, .02 mi, Turn Right onto Birchwood Drive, 0.1 mi, Arrive at 434 NE Birchwood Drive.
