The cost of registration is covered by our club and will be reimbursed after you attend. Only $20 - $25 depending on the location you choose and it covers morning snack and lunch. Volunteers should arrive at approximately 6:30pm as the flight is scheduled to return at 8:20pm. Kiwanians will be lining up directly after the military line. We will meet inside the terminal before the security check point. Directions will follow from there. The volunteers from Old Glory are very appreciative of our participation. One of their goals is to have a line of folks welcoming the veteran's back that stretches all the way from the gate to the terminal entrance. Anyone who wishes can stay to help with clean-up. Hope that you can join us. |

When you walk in March for Babies, you give hope to the more than half a million babies born too soon each year. The money raise supports programs in our community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten our babies. March of Dimes has been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $2 billion to benefit all babies.
Our club will be once again supporting the annual walk. Volunteers are needed to help with the grilling/preparation, serving, and clean-up of the food for walkers. Come for some or all of the morning. Please click on the link below to sign up for one of our volunteer opportunities: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/805094BAAAB2C7-2016 When choosing a sign-up option, click "I don't want an account. May 14, 2016 - May 19, 2016
Our project will be hanging up the students’ artwork on the playground chain link fence at the school using zip ties. Time permitting; we may also haul dirt to the various residential community gardens. May 19th will also be a rain date, if May 14th is a washout. Volunteers are asked to bring ladders, as the artwork will be attached from 7-10 feet high.
