DISTRICT CONGRESS
Santa Tecla Palace Hotel – Acireale ROTARY District 2110
Friday 23rd June
15.00 Arrival Catania Airport where coach will be waiting for us.
16.45 Acireale quick stop to saver their amazingly unique……
‘Grinita di mandorla’ at Bar Cipriani.
17.20 Arrival at Santa Tecla Palace Hotel & registration.
19.30 - Drinks and Dinner at the hotel.
Saturday 24th
10.00 - Etna day coach Excursion (possibly inc.Toermina, for the ladies and those not attending the congress )
13.00 - Lunch – at restaurant en-route (tba)
16.30 - Return to Hotel
19.30 - Drinks and formal dinner at the hotel.
Sunday 25th
10.00 ( Mass will be celebrated prior) Attend last session of the Congress that will end with the handing over of the jewels from current Governor Nunzio Scibilla to in-coming Governor 2017/18 - John De Giorgio.
12.30 Light lunch and departure to Catania Fontana Rossa Airport
15.25 Departure RyanAir to Malta
Note : We are working with our Sicilian counterpart to refine this itinerary in line with theirs. At this early stage the above is a general idea of the weekend planned, so this should to encourage you to register. Cost of the package is not yet at hand, however we expect this to be reasonable given that we will be a sizeable group.
